The key element of the enrollment procedure is the online interview in Physics that includes solving of some problems (see examples, experimental and theoretical) . You are accepted immediately when pass the interview and get the consent of supervisor to work with you.

Scholarship is supported by AdFutura Foundation
Tuition fee is supported by Slovenian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation
Program duration: 48 months
Non-EU citizens: to get residence permit, the procedure should be started immediately after enrollment
Accepted candidates register for PhD program in the University of Ljubljana and to AdFutura Foundation
Students supervised by scientists outside Slovenia will spend at least half a year or longer period in the partner labs (support provided by partner labs is agreed individuallly).
Timeline
Before May 15, 2024: express your interest by e-mail on QTFuture@nanocenter.si Required documents: records of University grades (transcript), CV, publications (if any)
Before June 15, 2024: pass online interview in Physics. Contact QTFuture@nanocenter.si to agree any day starting from April 1, 2024
Before July 1: (successful candidates who passed interview) Contact one of possible Research supervisors to obtain his/her agreement to supervise your work
After enrollment, if you are not EU citizen: (1) Start visa application in your country; (2) Before September 1, 2024, 23:59 CEST: Register for PhD program in University of Ljubljana Call for Enrolment in the doctoral degree programmes of the University of Ljubljana, Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and Physics
September 15, 2024: Send your documents for AdFutura financial support.
