Educational Program
The education program consist of two parts:
Our goal is to present modern science in the context of its background, consisting of the most important original works of the XX century.
2D van der Waals heterostructures: state-of-the-art & perspectives (EX)
Modern random matrix theory and connections to many – body – localization (TH)
Quantum mechanics of open systems: functional integral methods (TH)
University of Ljubljana Syllabus : see Syllabus section at the end of this web page, and Curricula for orientations. Briefly, the major portion of required 240 credits consists of research (180) and presentation of dissertation theme (15). Classroom learning includes compulsory elements (course + seminar, 18 credits totally) and elective courses (18 credits). The choice of courses must be supported by the supervisor and approved by the FMF Department of Physics Study Board, but there are many degrees of freedom.
